    FX loop issues

    Hello, I`m having an issue with my amp FX loop. The thing is when I try to connect my Boss 7 band EQ through it the volume in the amp starts to go up and down. Same thing with my noise gate, this thing never happened to me in the past with other amps.

    What happens when you just jumper the loop with a plain cord?

    What kind of amp is it?

      Had a similar problem with my crate vc5310 and it turned out to be the effects jack, they have a micro switch that opens when you put a jack in, I sorted it for a while with some switch cleaner and when the problem came back I got a new socket... same with the channel changer jack but sorted now

        Thank`s for the replies guys. The amp is a Bugera 6262 combo and when I connect my ME 70 through the FX Loop I have no issues but with my MXR smart gate and EQ I have the up/down volume issue. I have no problem sending the noise gate through the front of the amp but with my EQ just don`t work that way.
