      You are right.
      I had looked at the main supply and power amp chassis and it only shows the main rails, thought preamps used dropper resistors and zeners , but no, they house the whole supply, including the bridge rectifiers there.
      I stand corrected.

      That said, the amp can be modified, specially the Mini Brute which seems to have only a couple ICs, so low current requirements.

      Ok, consider it a "Plan B"
