5E3 Deluxe Problems

Just finished a 5E3 and it works but when i play it there is a ringing noise, it also happens if I tap the chasis. At first I thought it was the tubes vibrating but I put in tube retainers and it still happens.

Tube retainers that just keep them from falling out won't keep them from vibrating.

Tap the chassis or otherwise make this ringing happen, then grasp each tube frimly in your hand one at a time down the row. See if grasping one makes it stop.

If they are too hot, use a rag or gloves.

Likewise, go down the row of tubes and tap on each with your fingernail or a pencil. DO any respond with sound out the speaker - a microphonic tube.
