Greetings,
I'm wondering if anyone knows what might be causing the standby function of my amp to fail. The amp in question is a modified (Fuchs) bandmaster head. When I'm switched to standby, I can still hear myself play a little bit. It's quiet and sputtery, but you can hear it.
Any ideas? Is this likely an issue with the switch? If it's anything much more complicated than that I'll probably have to take it in for service, but I'm wondering if it could be something simple I might tackle myself.
