At practice my amp acted as if my battery went out in my pedal, but to my surprise it was my amp. Any Ideals?

We'll need a better description of how the problem presented itself and is effecting the sound of the amp. Different pedals sound different as the batteries die.
Chuck"Take two placebos, works twice as well." Enzo
"Now get off my lawn with your silicooties and boom-chucka speakers and computers masquerading as amplifiers" Justin Thomas
"If you're not interested in opinions and the experience of others, why even start a thread?
You can't just expect consent." Helmholtz

Sorry, after bypassing the pedal the amp still made no sound, I turned it around to look at the tubes and seen one of the "6L6" not glowing but with what looked like a flame. At that point I shut the amp down. Later at home it had no signs of power, not even the power light was on. There was a smell of electrical burn maybe?
