96 Fender Twin (PR266) Reverb Static Problem

I just picked up a 96 Fender Pro Twin (PR266) which has a distinct radio-like static coming from the Reverb "channel". If I lower the Reverb pot it goes away. Any suggestions to help diagnose problem would be greatly appreciated.

If the static has reverb effect on it, check the reverb drive circuit. If not, it would be in the reverb recovery. Try swapping out the tubes.

Not sure exactly which flavor 'Twin' you have, but if it's the one detailed by http://www.fender.com/support/amp_sc..._Schematic.pdf they would be V5 (drive) and V6a (recovery) (in the upper center of the schematic.) It could also be one of the JFETs Q1 & Q2
