Are the outputs still getting hot?
ewww....might have a problem with the ones in now being 3.
I had no idea what should go in as none of that information is
    in the schematic I have......

I haven't gotten to the amp today to work on the lack of signal
yet....but, yeah, last night when I turned the amp on the back of
the amp and the aluminum chassis/heatsink that the power trannies
are fixed on got scalding hot in about a minute. Couldn't touch it.

Wait.......the whole rectifier is rated at five.....it's one unit.
What I've put in is 4 diodes to make a bridge. Each diode is
rated 3 amps... should that be ok?

No. The bridge can handle 5 amps through it, your diodes can handle 3 amps through them.
Education is what you're left with after you have forgotten what you have learned.

Ok, everything is back and working with this amp.

I wish there was something about the power supply on the schematic for
this amp; I took me forever to realize that the caps were wired wrong.
They were set up like you would do with a tube amp- totemed and putting
out 80+ instead of the 40+/40- split with the center tap in the middle of
            the totem....

It all works and sounds really nice for an old SS amp. Thanks for all your
            help guys...

Also- Would you guys have any suggestion as to where one could find a
comparable 5A chunk bridge rectifier online?

There is a schematic for the power supply and board hook up for most Kustom amps. Which model do you have?

In our shop we basically stock 2 bridge rectifiers. One is rated at 200v/10A and the other is rated for 25 Amps. These cover most all rectifier bridge replacements in older amps.

As you noted, the K200 amp has a +&- 40vdc supply, so any bridge rated at least 100 volts and at least 5 amps will work.

If you haven't cut off the push on connectors from the wiring loom, you may need to thin the terminals on the new bridge as most will be larger than the orginals ones.
