Marshall Footswitch Conversion Possible?

Hello All :

Issue: I have a Marshall footswitch w/ LED's (for VS-100) amp.

Q) Can this be rewired to work on the MG100DFX ?
If so, how do you do this without hurting the unit.
I'm not throwing 40.00 down the drain just because I changed amps.
