Blues Junior ribbon wiring change

Hi.

I need to have longer ribbon cables to the sockets because I have fabricated

a chassis from another amp.

Do I have to use ribbon cable or can I use individual wires?

Do most electronic stores carry ribbon cable?

Individual wires are fine. No, not all electronic supermarkets carry ribbon cable, and unless you have the tool to strip it, it can be a pain the the butt.
