      Well one way would be to check for heat. Are any of them hot to the touch?

      Also check each of the pins for voltage. There should only be dc voltage on pins 4 and 8 of the reverb and loop chips. There will be voltages on other pins for the footswitching chip.

      But if your power supply isn't working correctly you may have a problem with this method.
