    Hi guys,

There is a bit of confusion on what the correct reverb tank is in this thread.
Can someone who knows for a fact throw the correct model out here?

    Thanks

I just received a reply back from Accutronics about the correct replacement tank for a '71 Princeton Reverb.

        4AB3C1B

that's odd. hmmm ,..,. I just copied the model number off my tank in the 71 princeton I own.

I would do a search on the web for the size of the 4AB3C1B, I just did and found that it is 17" tank. They may have given you the wrong info.

Sorry,,,,still thinking about this,,, went and measured the inside of the cabinet, "18 1/2", I guess one could fit a 17" tank in a princeton, it would be tight, and it wouldn't be all that surprising to find that my PR doesn't have the original pan in there....
It would be nice to find out from someone that knows for sure what belongs in a PR.
Please post back if you find anything else about this issue.

The tank in my Princeton now is a 17". I specifically asked them what is the equivalent Accutronics tank to the stock tank in a '71 Princeton Reverb. That is what the replied with. The one you are saying is a short, what 9" tank? Thats not what I have in mine now. I have the stock tank which is a Gibbs Reverberation Unit model 4U1 and that is a 17" tank although missing springs. It works I just need parts for it.

The guy I bought from put the 17" Belton in there but it doesn't sound great, way too verby. I'd like to fix the Gibbs but need to find parts.

Thought I'd grab the correct Accutronics while I hunted.

yes , mine is the 9" one. It does sound really good, but the wrong one, huh..
perhaps I'll 'spring' for a 17" one when I have some spare cash.
                  thanks
