Some info. On Line 6 AX2?

I have a couple of these. One's a beater and the other I use on gigs. I put V-30s in it, worked the patches for weeks, and have some killer tones. An under rated amp in my opinion. It's the tweaking that's really important.

Here's my issue. My bite and sustain are losing it. I use to be able to control sustain and feedback pretty nicely but it's not there any more. Some of the patches, even though they haven't changed, are losing their initial attack or bite. The clean patches seem OK.

Any suggestions on what may be going on?

Please keep in mind that this is a digital amp.
A computer with a speaker.
Seeing that it is what, 10 years since it was manufactured, I would look real hard at the power supply.
You need a dead solid DC supply with very little AC ripple.

I have a Furman regulator/conditioner on it. Supply is not a problem. I appreciate your input.

Your Furman only conditions the ac line power going into the amp. Jazz P was referring to the ac to DC power supply inside the amp. You can have the nicest ac voltage possible going into your amp, but the amp itself runs off DC voltages generated by the internal power supply. That is what he's suggesting you have checked.

If this amp was on my bench, that is the first thing that I would look at.
