Hi all, Happy Thanksgiving....
I have a modified 5F1 that uses two 6v6's in parallel for a bit more power. I am curious about measuring current through the tubes. I built myself the bias checker from Hoffman amps Tube Amplifiers and building supplies for the do it yourself type. We specialize in vintage circuits.
When I read something like 25ma on a single tube am I actually seeing that the total current draw from both tubes is 50ma? The tubes share a cathode resistor, a 250R I believe. I suppose I will measure across the K resistor to find out but any comments are welcome...
Thanks,
Patrick
