Hi all,
I had located a post (not even sure on this forum) that gave some suggestions regarding the distortion I'm getting from my Champ head. It sounds like a blown speaker but is not - it is sort of on top of the nice natural overdrive of this amp when cranked. Tried different tubes and it remains. In this post it led me to believe that it was some sort of oscillation and suggested a few things to try - move OT or PT, shorten certain leads, etc. I can't find it as firefox couldn't reopen the tab after having shut down for updates. Any help is much appreciated. I've searched on this forum with limited success...
Thanks.,., Patrick
