Got a load of TV damper diodes layin' around that I got as overstock from an electronics distributor I worked for yeas ago. From what I remember they're 3a @ at least 1.5kv rated. Maybe 3 or 4 different types. Haven't bothered to dig them out and find a datasheet on them....will they be ok in a continuous duty application as a rectifier? With all the hype about the "freds", these should perform in a similar manner since they're high freq rated.
