I have always been a fan of Kester, specifically the 44 type in 63/37. But I have started using thier no-clean 245 type, in 62/36/02 and I love it.

Just for simple repairs I think you would like the Kester 44, it flows nice, melts quick, and takes very little cleanup.

      Just don't use unleaded solder

RoHS solder and a Cold Heat solder iron.....kidding, they suck.

MGC 4860 is good, as is the Kester 44 mentioned above!

Any place you can get small quantities (couple ounces maybe) of Kester or MGC solder? I'd like to audition different solders to find something I like better than the 60/40 stuff from Ratshack. The rosin in that stuff is not to my liking (pops, hard to remove).
