When I first got this amp, it had only one volume... wide open.I replaced 4 of the EL84's (the one's that didn't light up).Now I have control over my volume, tone , ect.Now my sound cuts out when I turn it up on both channels.I cleaned the pots well, but it still cuts out.

It sounds like you may have a loose connection somewhere that is breaking contact due to vibration.

The other possibility is that there may be tarnish on the switching contacts of the effects loop jacks (if it has them). Treating the jacks with Caig DeOxIt D5 may solve this problem.

Your initial problem of wide-open volume isn't consistent with bad EL84s. It sounds like the ground terminal of the master volume pot was not making connection to the board.
