I don't have an answer for your problem but here's a schematic.

i know that i am new here, but thought i'd offer some thoughts.

unfortunately, (and i am only speaking for me), but assisting in troubleshooting, especially over the net, requires more detailed info about the symptoms.

does the "distortion" occur while adjusting the volume, bass, or treble controls?

do you notice any of the led's flickering when this occurs?

does this occur after a specific amount of "on time" or is it random and occurs immediately after turn on?

        re: bill inquiry.
the distortion is not associated to any controls.no leds are flickering, and its only for a few seconds, then clears up again.. the amp has to be playing awhile before it happens.

i've seen a couple of those amps (stage and studio leads) that needed resoldering at the PCB of the pins to which the plastic connectors attach.

spray clean the clean channel pots and the selector switch (and footswitch jack)....effects loop jacks, too.
