Should I look into the smaller board that holds the input and line out jacks?
I hope not because this one is a lot harder to remove or work on than the main PCB.
All I know is nothing broke off of it, hehe.

Hmm, I THINK it's working now, I got my computer playing an mp3 through the peavey into a 1x12 with a EVM12L, and it's now crackle-free.
The only thing I'm wondering about is the volume, it's not terribly loud.
My mesa mark iii is supposed to be 75 watts, and it's unbearable in the bedroom with master on 2, I turned the peavey to 5 and it wasn't as loud as the mark iii on 2.
Could there still be issues? I cleaned all tube sockets and jacks with contact cleaner.
        Maybe they're just rated differently?

In the Mesa, you are playing through an entire amp including a preamp, are you not?

The PV Classic 60 power amp is just that, a power amp. No preamp included. Stick 3v of signal into the front of it, and it will make loud.
Education is what you're left with after you have forgotten what you have learned.

The Mesa is louder because it has a preamp section driving the power amp, the classic 60 just has a signal grounding control relying on the weaker drive of your mp3 player. Try driving the classic from the preamp out of a guitar amp.

Right on, I don't have any more connecting cables, but I got some parts coming in next week so I can make more.
Until then, anyone care to give me instructions on a bias mod or a resonance / presence mod?
