  • Ampeg SVT 4 Pro curcuit breaker

    I have an ampeg svt 4 pro and the circuit breaker is broken, well the bit that pops out, any idea where i might get one from..
    I have rung ampeg and they said as im in the uk i have to contact a supplier here, and they cannot get hold of any..
    can people in the us get them?
    any advice would be appreciated..

    infact, can i put any fuse holder in?i could get a screw in panelmount cartridge fuse holder anywhere...
    just i thought that they were supposed to pop out if there was a problem?

      Did you try to contact Loud Technologies in the USA.
      Curious how there is no listing for the CB in the parts list.
      Or no indication on the schematic of a different one for 110/220V input.
      Worse comes to worse put in a fuse holder.
      Size the fuse accordingly.

        What are the breaker ratings? They should be printed on the side of the breaker. Then look to a general electronics parts supplier for one of similar rating with a similar size mounting hole.

          Here's the Mouser part number. I had to replace one of those. ... You're in the UK... disconnect and remove the breaker from the amp and look on the sides of it. It should give you the manufacturer name and part number. Over here, it was a 15 amp breaker and most of the info was on the side/s of the breaker.

            Well if it was 15A for us, then it would be more like 7 or 8 for him, I'd think.
