I have an Evans JE200 from 1997 and I've always considered it a very good amplifier and had some conversations with the owner at the time of sale, but the reverb has been intermittent and making a fuzzy noise when it cuts out (it stays out once it goes) and I contacted Evans to get the schematic, letting them know I was the original owner, and they told me it would cost $25! I was somewhat affronted and did not pay them the $25.

I may have to sell just to get the burnt taste out of my mouth.

I worked on one that a steel player brought me one day and they are basically pretty simple. You can follow it along and pretty much figure it out without a schematic. They are very clean and extremely powerfull for how light they are. This one was just a box and it was old and made in the Shreveport facility. Very nice for steel guitar.

Well, Bugera, Behringer , Markbass, and a *ton* of other makers won't even *sell* you the schematic, no matter how much you offer, so .....
And Mesa Boogie will ask you what your problem is, and send only the little piece of schematic that covers *just* that section ... which often is not enough.
And a few "famous" brands don't have authorized repair centers and you are forced to send them the amp ... your cost .... and often to the other end of the Country (as from Miami to Seattle).
