What would be the best EL34's for my '73 Bassmaster?

Are they equivalents or is reworking the amp required?

You can sub them with no modification.

I've had good luck with EH EL34s in my YBA3. They had no problem with the 700v+ on the plates.

You have all kinds of options. KT66, KT90, 6CA7, KT88, 6550....they'll all run in that amp with just a bias adjust.
