  • Need help! channel and crunch switch not working!!!

Ok, I was disconnecting the breakaway board for my effects loop and preamp section and it tapped the bottom of the breakaway where my power tubes are connected. A crack a pop and flash of light later I noticed my crunch and channel switch wouldn't work. On my amp or the footswitch. I figure there's nothing in the footswitch to solve. But I did find R37 which is 47ohm 1 watt resistor to be blown. As in turn black in some spots and even a burn mark on the circuit board. Nothing else seems to be damaged though. I replaced the resistor with another 47 but metal film and only 1/4 watt resistor. Still doesn't make a difference. Would the wattage on the resistor be a big issue? Or are there other things I should be looking at? I'm trying to troubleshoot it and figure out where the problems originating from. I replaced all the 10k resistors on the FX breakaway but wonder if the transistors could've gotten messed up. Anyone out there that can point in me in the right direction or have had the same or close to the same problem at all? Thanks so much!!!
