Purchased this amp new last summer. Don't use it alot. But one problem I have had from beginning is that I can only put the amp's Master Volume on 2 or so. Any higher, and I will blow myself out of the room. I just have one 6-string, with dual pickups. It is an Ibanez AFS75T, also new. And I have to keep the guitar volume knobs at a very low selection as well. Seems this amp is extremely sensitive. I don't experiment much with the many 'effects' this amp has to offer, due to the volume issues. By this I mean that one needs to 'crank' the volume a bit to get full appreciation of an effect. However, I need to keep turning down Master to compensate for some of these.

I am older, and dont use all the distortion settings, which are under my control (sort of). But the volume thing just doesn't seem right.

15 watts is actually pretty loud. If you're trying to keep the volume down to where you don't bother anyone else, you will, indeed, have to turn the Master down very low.
