Hi there,
I'm trying to replace the input jack on a noisy old Squier 15 I've been given. Trouble is the old one (branded LS) had two connections and was earthed to the faceplate and the one I've got to replace it has four connections and no earth. Oh yeah, and the old jack had already been disconnected, leaving one white and one black lead. Can anyone help me (a rank amateur!) sort this out please? The genuine Fender replacement is different from the old LS one as well. Check out these pix to see what I mean. How can I get this thing working again?
All help gratefully received.
