  • Fender Footswitch trouble

I bought a Fender Champion 110 used a couple of years ago and have had no problems with it. Today I purchased a brand new Fender footswitch for this amp, plugged it in and it doesn't switch the channel on the amp. The footswitch light goes on and off. Anyone have any idea on the problem? Thanks,
    Rick

    Fender Champion 110

    What switch did you buy?
According to the owners manual, the Champion 110 uses a single switch with a mono 1/4" cord. No LEDs.
Try plugging in a guitar cable into the amps footswitch jack & jumper the tip to the ring.
    It should switch channels.

      Thanks,
I tried that and it switched the channel. I hooked up a guitar cable and it works fine. The cord that came with the switch is bad. It is a brand new Fender switch made for the Champion 110. Thanks for your reply. This is a great forum.
