Sound Cuts From Marshall vs65r

while playing the amp the sound will just slowly fade away. it comes back when i hit / kick the side of the amp then once playing resumes it will slowly fade away. any ideas would be greatly appreciated

well if you bang it then it works then its possibly just a bad guitar/speaker cable getting moved around when you hit the amp. or just a lose component or cold solder joint. Thats what kicking an amp fixes lose and bad connections. Clean the jacks also i forgot if that amp has a effects pedal input but if it does clean that to.

I have checked the solder joints they seem to be fine
