  • stood on lead roland cube 20 dead. Help please

Hi guys, i stood on my Roland cube 20x lead and it pulled tight, cracking the plastic surround on the input and moving board the input is soldered to inside around. I think it may have touched something. The lights went out and the amp now wont do anything.

I have had a look at it, the power supply is getting 235v, the fuse is good, the switch appears ok and the transformer is outputting 13v or thereabouts to the main board. checked for physical damage and there ae no black spots or broken legs on caps. etc. Can someone offer any info on what would be the next good bet to start testing? I have a schematic, and am not exactly a pro electronics specialist. Not a novice either though lol.
    Thanks in advance!

I bet you won't do that again. You did break something and now it's a matter of figuring out what it was. Better than trying to find an intermittent at any rate.

Should be relatively simple I should think, access might be a problem though.

There's no easy way out of this unless you did something simple like pull a wire off the power switch or something.
