Heater wiring for 6CG7 tube

Found this info on heater wiring somewhere (preamp tubes mentioned are 12AX7):
"one leg going to pin 7 on ALL the power tubes then on to pin 9 on ALL the preamp tubes. On the other leg, going to pin 2 of ALL the power tubes, and pins 4&5 on ALL the preamp tubes"

but which leg goes to which on 6CG7 tubes:

Or maybe it doesn't matter, as heater pins 4 and 5 are internally connected?

I'm asking this because I have a lot of low hum in my Magnatone 280 homebrew, so I'm trying to eliminate a possible hum source before I move to other suspects.

The heater is not center tapped in that tube, so it may have a bit more hum pickup from the heater. Not much you can do about that.
