Happy NEW YEARS!!!!!!
The original Kustoms were made in Cincinnati and there are still many of the old factory techs around that town. A few years ago when I was working for Buddy Roger's Music there was a fellow - I believe his name was "Norm" (or some name that resonates like that) who ran a service center called "Secret Service." And believe it or don't he was forced to change his shop name by the Feds after many years in business - and for the life of me I cannot remember the new name. But if you got on the net and looked up electronics - especially musical instrument electronics - in Cinty anyone you reached would know what SS is now called. And it just might be them cuz when I was in that town there were only three service shops that specialized in MI electronics and I ran one of them so if you don't contact BRM you've probably got a 50% chance of catching "Norm" right off. And he was one of the guys making these amps!
Thanks guys!
I was refurburbing a PA100 and was trying to figure out what the "missing jack" on the back used to do.
the other is for reverb footswitch, plus 2 speaker jacks on the other side.
"Secret Service"....that's priceless!
I have a Kasino pa100 which is as far as I know the same thing as your Kustom. The jack above the foot switch jack is an output to go to a tape recorder.
