  • Anybody know of any good books or info on electronic repair to buy or download

Ive got a nice small collection of books so far, but im looking for some really informative books on audio electronics repair. I just found a book on music synthesizer repair both analog and digital. That sounds extremely interesting to me all though its a bit expensive. Ive already got the two electronic bibles so to speak. the art of electronics and the radio designer one. Those can get a little to thick in formulas for me though. I loved getting the most out of vacuum tubes, and the 1940's vacuum tube volt meters book. Id like some things as informative and as clear as those. I also liked parts of Repairing consumer electronics without a schematic.
There’s a guy online that has made a large download available for purchase that is specifically geared toward solid state amp repair for auto amps. From his previews it looks like it would be really great for learning how to fix guitar and pa amps i think it could be one of the most informative documents on solid state repair. It even has info on class d amps. Sometimes im lacking in that area esp digital amps. Hes always adding updates to his book and offers email support freely. Its complete with animations and flash i believe as well.
Books and pdfs that are specific to one kind of gear are very useful like if anyone knows of an effects pedal repair or design guide. Or a good switchmode power supply repair guide. Or even a troubleshooting test gear guide. I really like the older books allot. OK well any suggestions would be really helpful, thanks
