Time to get back to basics. Have you checked the power supply? Do you have both + and - 40 vdc and + and - 16vdc?

If the power supply is ok, then check to see if the problem is in the preamp or the power amp. Plug a signal into the "Insert" jack. The tip is the input to the power amp, if there is sound coming from the speaker, then the problem is in the preamp. If there is no sound then there is still a problem in the power amp.

Did you check the speaker and extension speaker jack?

If you have checked all of these things already great, but it would help us to know what you've already done.

OK, to update everyone on this amp, the output transistors were replaced (tip 142 & 147) the amp powers up, channel A and B work, but no signal.
All the jacks and solder joints are good.
I get the +40vdc and -40vdc off the middle legs of the output transistors, but where do i look for the +-16vdc.
Also i plugged into the insert jack and no signal there either

The simplest point would be at the two 270 ohm 5 watt resistors. There will be 40 volts on one side and 16 volts on the other end. This is why they get so hot.

Have you checked all of the diodes and transistors in the power amp? Test everything in circuit. If there are any transistors that seem shorted or open then remove them to test out of circuit.

Q9 is an FET that is used as a mute on the input of the power amp, that would be something to look at as well.
