Where to buy old Fender knob

I am rebuilding an Fender PA-100 amp and need a knob. This knob is marked -5 to +5. Where can I find one? Thanks!

Oh, I also need one of those washers that go around the jewel light.

Ebay? Maybe talk to yer local amp repair place and see if they have one rattling around in a junk drawer....

Both parts may be made of unobtainium.

As for the pilot lamp washer, you can make one.

On the Blackface and early Silverface amps, the pilot lamp socket was mounted to the chassis after the faceplate was installed. The pilot lamp socket held the faceplate in place. Sometime during the Silverface days, Fender probably decided to install the lamp socket earlier in the assembly line. The faceplate had to have an oversized hole to clear the pilot socket rim so a washer was needed to prevent the faceplate peeling forward. If you look closely at an original washer, you can see where the ID was drilled larger.

Here's what you do:
1. Find a stainless steel flat washer with an 1/2" ID.
2. Enlarge the ID to allow the pilot jewel to be mounted in the socket.
3. Hit the back with the peen side of a ball-peen hammer to give it a cupped shape to sit just right over the pilot lamp rim.
4. Polish it to a mirror finish.

AFAIK, those washers don't come with the lamp assemblies. They aren't a stock part, but something added by CBS/Fender in the late 1970s to cover up an assembly/design error.
