Welcome to the place. The controls that are marked B are linear, A are audio and C are reverse audio. The pot that was recommenced was the 50K 15A (15% Audio taper).

Thanks a lot for the welcome and the info So that looks like the bass or the treble on the clean channel. I'll have to see what I can find that's current (regarding parts sites), and order a couple.

Maybe someday I'll be able to return the help to someone. Many years ago I bought a JX-8P synth that had non-functioning aftertouch. I setup a website on repairing with graphite. The site is no longer online, but I found an old thread on harmony central with some guys referencing it (JX8P aftertouch repaired ! - Forums) If anyone here would need the info I can re-post somewhere on the forum. I let the domain expire years ago, the site is no longer active but I still have all of the website files.

EDIT: for anyone interested, I decided to put the site live again. I'm sure it's a -very- small percentage of people out there with this synth, but if it helps one person, that will be enough.
