Hello, I am a total newbie here, please be kind! I recently bought a non-working Russian Small Stone and would like to find anyone on here that has photos of the board they could forward me to try to trouble shoot this thing. The LED has been removed and so has the power input. one pin on each input and output jack have been wired together, which looks like an add on. Any help would be immensely appreciated. I don't have a camera until tomorrow to post pictures...

Have a look here first and see if you can identify which model it is.

The wire between the two jacks may be just an earth to make sure
they are grounded even if one gets loose and loses its chassis connection
if the nut works free.
The lug it is soldered to would be connected to the threaded bit that physically connects to the chassis .
There are a few schematics around mainly the "J" model.

Green Russian + USA V3 Small Stone (blues)
I posted that thread late last night and forgot to mention I actually have (2) non-working small stones (!) The Russian one is green and has the CA-3094E chips.
The USA one is a V3 as far as I can tell, the footswitch appears to have a longer stem that pops out of the chasis, which was the only thing I noticed different between that and the reissues. This one uses the EH 1048 chips. The USA pedal will pass a signal in bypass mode with power attached but when I hit the stomp switch a loud hum is produced and no sound from the guitar. (Pictures soon) Is there a way to tell the difference between the reissue and the V3?Comment

I think the reissue used different IC's but I'm no expert on this.
There are some people on this forum that know a lot !

Issue J (the one with orange writting)used EH1048 chips(8 pin) and the red and black one(EH4800 phase shifter) used 16 pin chips (the chips in the unit I have here are marked LM13600-I got the pedal used so these may not be the original chip #'s).
