  • Kustom 100C-7 PC1000 schematic needed

I'm working on a Kustom 100C-7 preamp board number PC1000. The channel works and all of the transistors check ok but the level is weak with lots of hiss. Some of the older button transistors have been replaced with newer ones but without schematics, I don't know what should have been there. Does anyone have this schematic or know whether a PC1100 schematic is close?

Transistors are not critical most times. But any lytic caps are suspect. Esspecially any small value ones in the signal path. You know, little 1uf, 2uf, 10uf or something.

Did you do a search here for PC1000? I have it scanned, and the only reason I would do that would be to post it here.

It is nothing like the PC1100.

      Thanks Enzo,
I searched a few days ago but only found a PC900 (which I also needed) and the PC1100. I'm "not" complaining but my acrobat reader 7.0 said there were errors in your Kustom PC1000.2.PDF file but most of it came out ok.

I have reader 7 and reader 5 on my system. The scanner wakes up 5 instead of 7. Every time a file in one opens in the other, it considers the file "damaged" but "fixes" it. Perhaps that is what happened to you?
