  • Ampeg G-15 Reverb Help

I have lost reverb in my 66 Gemini G-15. No crash, boom , bang from tank. Output lead buzzes when touched. How do I drive the tank w/ an ipod to test tank? How do I check the footswitch? What about the send lead? When I tested the tank imputs w/
a multimeter, I got a reading of around 184 ohms on both jacks. Help

If touching the tip of the return cable makes hum then a good reverb pan should make noise. Plug that humming cable into the OUTPUT jack on the reverb pan and the springs should make noise if you shake them.
Education is what you're left with after you have forgotten what you have learned.

Just replaced original Gibbs reverb tank w/ new Acccutronics "C" model tank. I have reverb. Thanks so much . Now my only question is: How do I replace / repair the output transducer in the Gibbs ?
The Accutronics tank is fine , but does not seem to have the depth of the Gibbs. Any ideas ? Thanks again....
