Hi Everyone, first post and hoping someone can help. I have an Ampeg SVT 3 Pro bass head. I was playing a gig last night and all of a sudden...no stage volume. There was no output to my speaker cabinets at all but the DI out to the PA system kept working. I replaced the fuse, checked the connections/cables, plugged to a different cabinet to make sure it wasn't a speaker problem but I still haven't figured it out! Does anyone know what might have caused this and what I can do to fix it? Thanks. - Don

Did you ever resolve the issue??? I am having a similar problem.. -
#1: Jumper the power amp in & preamp out jacks.
This will prove out the jacks.
If they go "open" it will kill the power amp signal.
#2: Send the preamp out to another amp.
This will prove the preamp works.
#3: Insert a signal into the power amp in.
This will prove the power amp works.
I wish it was easy to troubleshoot amps.
It is not.
The signal chain from your instrument all the way out to the speaker is just that.
A chain.
There are what, a couple hundred parts in the amp.
The key to repairing amplifiers is locating that part that is not cooperating.
Once you find it you have to make some intelligent assumptions on why or how it failed.
The above #1 through #3 tests will help to localize the problem.
