  • Reverb tank

I'm working on a CL 74' (silver/black front panel) and there is no reverb tank in this one. The original tank came from O.C. Electronics model # 29-0006 type 51. Some kind soul has measured the input and outpt DC resistance on his OCE pan and they are both 175 ohms - I've attached the circuit for reference.Document.pdf

So I'm looking for a sanity check here - I believe the correct Accutronics would be a type 8 with grounded inputs and input impedance of 1925 ohms and 2575 ohms output impedance - in other words type number 8FB2A1A.

Or if anyone has one of these lying around.........

All of the OC tanks that I have seen have been the single "Z" spring types. I think they called them folded lines.

The specs for the tank that you picked should probably work fine. In fact I never really cared for the folded springs sound and the new tank will probably sound better than the original.
