I've never had problems with my Roland JC 120, have had it for almost 30 yrs. and it's had an easy life. The other day, I was playing my keyboards and I heard a short, little "pffft" and it died. I thought it might be the fuse but have changed that and no sign of life. Any ideas?

Tube Amp Debugging Page at GEOFEX.Amazing!! Who would ever have guessed that someone who villified the evil rich people would begin happily accepting their millions in speaking fees!
Oh, wait! That sounds familiar, somehow.

Yes - R.G.'s debugging page is great to give a logical troubleshooting framework.
According to schematics at least some of the versions of the JC120 have a thermal fuse inside, probably embedded in the power transformer.
In any case even if the final problem turns out to be simple it will require disassembly and possible exposure to potentially lethal voltages for troubleshooting, so if you are not comfortable in there or lack previous electronic experience it might be time to take the amp to a tech. No shame in that - if everybody could do everything none of us would have a job.

+100. Be careful in there.
As Mark points out, it's possible that it's a thermal fuse opened. If there is a thermal fuse, testing the windings for "open" with a DMM will find it.Amazing!! Who would ever have guessed that someone who villified the evil rich people would begin happily accepting their millions in speaking fees!
