Roland JC-120 channel 2 no work!

Hello people,

I just got a brand new JC-120 out of the box today. I read the instructions like the modern man I am but cannot get a peep out of channel 2! I've got a feeling u might need to plug a Y-jack into the effects loop or something but I'm not sure. I'm one of those guys who spends the first 10 mins of a gig figuring out the standby buttons on alien amps whilst gettin pelted with bottles so any illumination will be much obliged!

There is no setting for the second channel, other than a separate volume control.
You can try to insert the guitar into 2nd channel effects return (mono).
That would bypass the preamp.
