  • help with dropping voltages in secondaries

    Hello,

I converted a AO-43 L-100 hammond organ amp into a "lighting layout" build.

Note that I have matched all parts and tubes to the lightning layout.

The secondaries are 315v-0-315v on the original hammond PT but the new layout uses a 290v-0-290v PT which is a 25v difference. Can someone suggest options for dropping the voltage and where (after or before the rectifier)?

    Thanks,
    Ran

You can try this but IMO that isn't enough voltage swing to effect anything. 25 volts really isn't that much in tube circuits.
