My friend has one (identified by & schem supplied by Enzo )
here: http://music-electronics-forum.com/t20714/ (not the same guys amp)
It plays at extremely low volume. Everything else seems fine. Went bad when he lent it to someone who actually used it loudly at several shows. Both 6L6 tubes are good.
I am familiar with tube preamps but know nothing about the dozen or so transistors inside this amp. Any known common starting points for this low volume problem? Can I wipe out the transistors easily while signal tracing? I'm guessing that I won't fry any transistors by just checking the power supply for a start?
Any tips would be great.
Thanks
Scott
