    anyone else got any ideas ?

    could this be a bad filter cap even though the B+ reads ok ?

      UPDATE-- volume problem fixed !! ---it was a cracked solder joint on the phase inverter . finally saw it when re-flowing stuff.

      still has the hum/buzz , but im doing some re-capping this week.
