My nashville 400 worked great when I put it away but now it pops and squeals at random when my steel is plugged in or not. What gives? Thanks, John

Try cleaning all the jacks. Most Peavey amps use switching jacks and they do get dirty. Depending on the switch function it can cause several problems. If the amp worked when you put it away then I have to think that all that could have happenrd is oxide and dirt on the jacks."Take two placebos, works twice as well." Enzo
