  • Embarrassingly Simple Roland JC-120 Question

I recently opened my Roland JC-120 up to do some simple investigation / cleaning and I am now having problems trying to put it back together. As I said, this is a somewhat embarrassing question. My JC-120 is the late Eighties version, serial no. BA1164, and I am having problems with the two long top screws that attach the amplifier section to the top piece of the amplifier. For some reason, I can't seem to get them to screw into the amplifier section. I feel like I'm missing something simple and would be much indebted to anyone who could help me out. Thank you very much.

I am not familiar with the fastener arraingement.
    Can you describe it?
The two screws in the front will not go in, will not thread?
Some amps have a nut that is wrapped in spring steel that has the ends bent up.
The nut, spring steel assembly hooks into a square hloe in the chassis.
If these are missing, then that is the problem.
