  • need part # for VOX

on the VOX AD100VTH , does it use 1 or 2 output chips ?

What is the number on the chip ?

    Ive heard LM1875 ?

    The LM 1875 is a 25Watt IC.
I think the AD100VTH uses the LM 3886.

      It uses the STK404-130S.

        Thanks, JR.
Interesting that an STK type ic was used.

As there are no schemes available for this amp, I was judging from the AD30VT scheme that is out there.
Plus the AD120VT uses discrete output transistors.

Stereo amp - stereo power amp IC.

The schematics and service manual are up on the support web site, I don;t have time to post them at the moment.

CONTACT them and ASK for it.

Jazz mentioned there were no schematics available for this model. That is not the case, I went to the support web site, and there they were. That is not the company public web site, so I am not surprised if they are not there, but they are out there, and Vox just might send them if you ask nicely.

How many of them are in the amp? Look inside and see.

                    Here is the service manual.

Hey, I'm not picking on you, for all I know it went up on their board two minutes before I got there. And I don't remember if you were a Korg/Vox servicer or not anyway.
