  • Jcm 900 mkiii direct line out buzz

    Hey guys,
Well I decided to try the direct out on my 900. Thought it was a good idea. But it brings awful buzz. Anyone have any idea as how to get rid of it? I've tried other cables so I don't think thats it. I've seen other posts on other sites about bad recording out buzz but never found any solutions. Any ideas?

you need some kind of speaker-emulating filter.

at least a HF rolloff, maybe a LF resonance.

...or could it be a hum loop? Is the equipment you're plugging it into grounded? If so try lifting the screen on one end of your connecting cable, to break the loop.

Are the amp and whatever equipment you're running the amp's output into plugged into the same outlet strip? Should be.
