  • Recapping Filter Cap Clamps

Out of interest, how do you guys get around the modern filter can caps being way smaller than the new ones and therefore not fitting the old clamps while the chassis holes being a too big a diameter for new clamps?

You can either buy authentically sized caps from F&T, TAD etc. or make up adaptors out of blank PCB stock.

Or forget the holes and mount the new caps somewhere else.

Don't know where you are located, but with F & T and CE Distribution caps, this is not an issue.
