Peavey Studio Pro 112 Transtube Red Stripe Hum

Hi I found this forum off some internet search and it looked like the best place to post this. I have been having trouble eliminating humming that gets worse when I use the reverb feature on the amp, turn the volume up, crank the T. Dynamics, switch to higher gain settings, etc etc. I was wondering what might be done to eliminate or lessen the hum? Its not incredibly loud, but its enough that I figure I might as well try to fix it, especially since I picked this one up on the cheap due to the hum.

Try cleaning the connectors real well on both amp side and tank saying that it has one and isn't digital. If it has a tank you may try moving the wires around and it could be a faulty 4558 chip or 4560.

Much thanks. Can you recommend anything to assist in the cleaning process? I already have tuner cleaner for the pots and stuff, but I am rather unfamiliar with amp stuff compared to guitars.
